Band Of Skulls will play a special, four-date UK tour hosted by Independent Venue Week and Jägermeister this summer.
The group will play The Bungalow in Paisley (August 28), Hebden Bridge Trades Club (29) and The Cookie in Leicester (31), before the shows wrap-up in Chelmsford at The Bassment on 1 September.
Tickets for these special shows, which cost £10, are on sale now from www.skiddle.com/bos.
With local venues often quiet in the summer as festivals take centre stage, our tour with Band Of Skulls and Jägermeister is designed to give venues and fans alike a summer booster as part of Independent Venue Week’s year-round commitment to supporting and celebrating venues.
“We’re excited to be going back on the road with a run of very intimate shows in support of Independent Venue Week,” Band Of Skulls declared of the shows. “These venues are the lifeblood for artists to develop their careers and are essential for the future of music in the UK.”
Having previously supported us during Independent Venue Week itself, Jägermeister are looking forward to our summer excursion, explaining:
“We really enjoy Independent Venue Week, so supporting them to stage a summer tour that will pack out local venues is a no brainer. Jägermeister, is all about bringing together unique ingredients to create something special, so bringing Band Of Skulls into the mix with us and IVW will make for some truly amazing gigs.”
Support acts for the gig will be announced in due course, but we will be drawing on the wealth of up-and-coming talent who have played IVW over the last few years to put together some unique bills, so don’t miss out.
