The Hug and Pint is Glasgow’s newest music venue. Named after the Arab Strap’s classic album ‘Monday at the Hug & Pint’, the logo was designed by Aidan Moffat. The venue boasts a top quality PA System, a capacity above 100 and is available to hire. “”We aim to serve the musicians and music fans who make Glasgow what it is today and have contributed so richly to the rapid development of this city in recent years. We want to create a supportive, inclusive and positive environment for experimentation and collaboration – a focal point for new ideas

Situated at 171 Great Western Road in the Woodlands locale of the west-end, the aim is to bring a much-needed live music scene to an area with an already rapidly developing nightlife. Developed as a collaboration between Brian Reynolds (Synergy Concerts/The Wickerman Festival) and Colin Campbell (The Squid & Whale) – the joint is sure to bring you an excellent selection of food & drink to keep your tummy happy as well as the best loyal and touring artists to please your ears.
