74 Whinbush Road, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 1PZ | Venue Cap. 300 | Website

A truly independent community venue for over 30 years that has helped both launch the careers of such artists as James Bay, Don Broco, The Subways and Enter Shikari as well as providing a platform for the next wave of upcoming bands and promoters. Club 85 continues to be a venue open to all, from aiding local colleges in their end of term performances to hosting sold out touring concerts and DJ’s in any genre you can think of as well as being chosen to represent Metal To The Masses for Bloodstock festival, all amongst its unique décor and big screen projections. Club 85 is proud of it’s part in bringing together a diverse local music scene and big name acts whilst always managing to do something a little different.

Over the years this hidden gem has hosted an eclectic range of luminaries from Arthur Brown and Hawkwind to Spear of Destiny, Uncle Duggs, Wheatus and The Skints (the list goes on…).
