Unique neighbourhood bar and venue in the truest sense of the word bringing authentic rock ‘n roll to London since 2010. Two levels with an intimate and small but beautiful basement venue downstairs plus a large public bar above serving the best wines, spirits, beers and cocktails + traditional oven baked pizzas + bookable booths and long tables.
Bands and comedy 7 nights a week in the gorgeously atmospheric basement venue with its own dedicated and well stocked bar plus DJs til late in the main ‘dive bar’ upstairs every Friday and Saturday.
The basement venue was originally the strongroom for a Barclays Bank and has since been transformed into a stylish and decadent speakeasy with the corner stage surrounded by velvet drapes plus a dedicated green room to accommodate all manner of events.
Recent events have included shows by The Local, Cale Tyson’s London debut, David Thomas Broughton, John Murry, RM Hubbert, The Miracle Legion, Peter Fij & Terry Bickers (Ex House Of Love/Adorable), Non Cannon, Dan Stuart of Green On Red, Peter Bruntnell as well as a growing schedule of contemporary UK and International acts, regular club nights and festivals including Artrocker and The End Festival.
Aces & Eights also has a vibrant schedule of contemporary comedy and cabaret organised by ’Strip Light Comedy’ including Edinburgh Festival Previews and The Camden Fringe.
