Set within East London’s Truman Brewery, off Brick lane, Café 1001 is a versatile event / arts space that combines dining with a bar area and a spacious live room. Central to the evening economy of Brick Lane (one of the most famous streets in London) the Shoreditch venue is also close to Spitalfields and the Sunday Markets that attract tens of thousands of visitors. Established in 2001, Cafe 1001 is a creative hub for both well-known and up & coming artists, welcoming acts from a broad spectrum every night over two rooms. The multifaceted space also incorporates club events, dance performances and film screenings, together with art exhibitions, photography and festivals. Previous guests include The Horrors, Razorlight, Tamaryn and Lykke Li.
