The official #IVW21 launch took place in a covid secure and socially-distanced event at Bush Hall – hosted by Simone Butler (Primal Scream), who chatted with Arlo Parks as well as Tor Maries aka Billy Nomates and Betsy Harley, Music and Events Manager of Bush Hall. More interviews were held over zoom including Claire Mera-Nelson – Head of Music at Arts Council England, Rob Wilmshurst –CEO See Tickets, Chris Irvine – Product Manager Pro Audio Yamaha Music UK and James Ainscough – CEO Help Musicians UK.

The official #IVW22 launch took place on Wednesday 27 October 2021 at 229 London hosted by Steve Lamacq and with a performance from moa moa. Lamacq chatted with Rich Legate from Attitude Is Everything about their recently launch #JustAsk campaign and Cath Hurley from Future Yard, Birkenhead about how their year has been. Lamacq also spoke to Wayne Yardley of Rippla, who started streaming live gigs before the pandemic and Charlotte Penny from Arts Council England about how they have supported Grassroots Music Venues during the pandemic.
